MEET THE PHOTOGRAPHER

Owner | Photographer | Creative

My photography background developed from a long career of being in front of the camera. While still there from time to time, I am loving this wonderful juxtaposition.  Many times I wondered how a scene or a photo would look different if I had been the one behind the lens.  The ability and opportunity to look at scene and change up the perspective and transform it into something truly special is the fuel behind my creative juices.  There is something truly fulfilling about capturing moments in time that can be enjoyed time and time again.  It becomes something, not that I want to do, but that I NEED to do.
I love trying new things, new activities, and especially new concepts, new locations, and new ideas in photography. With me, you are going to get a very high degree of professionalism, but I will admit, I do have a bit of a sarcastic wit.  And that is one thing that I think sets me apart.  My goal is not only to deliver amazing, top quality, unique boudoir images, but for us to have a fantastically fun time doing it.  The more relaxed you are, the better the photos will be.  Plus, I have a never ending thirst for inspiration, and constantly looking at the things and places around us that can be re-imagined into stunningly created images.

WHY BOUDOIR?

Everyone deserves to look at themselves and be proud of who they are….it’s as simple as that.  Many times we are made to feel inferior, and that negativity sadly comes from all directions.  It could be family.  It could be our job.  It could be the massively unrealistic (and quite honestly false over-photoshopped images) depictions on social media of what “society” says is perfect or attractive.  I photograph several types of portrait type photography from corporate headshots, family photos, and professional actor headshots.  When those clients see the final result, they are usually happy with how those photos turned out.
But there is a joy that I see in a client’s eye with boudoir that is exponentially more satisfying.  For some, they may be seeing themselves, for the first time, in a way they never thought they would… or even could.  It’s a smile that grows.  It’s eyes that getting bigger and bigger as we scroll through the images of their various poses.  The moment is different for everyone.  It could be excitement.  It could be a feeling of overwhelming emotion (usually a good thing).  It even could be a bit of disbelief of not thinking they could look as amazing as they do.  But one thing is consistent.  It’s the start of new found confidence, and a love for themselves of who they are… right now.
